Yankee Stitchery.com makes use of the latest technology to ensure the security of your credit card information. All pages within our checkout process and areas containing your personal information are displayed in a secure environment using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology, which encrypts data between our computer and yours.
Do you do special orders?
We are happy to check on the availability of an item you are looking for and did not see on our site. Please provide the following information: model, if a Daylight Lamp or frame type if you are looking for a needlework frame stand. If you are looking for a particular DMC thread or thread color you do not see please give us the thread type and color number and we will check on availabiity for you. Our Lamp selection is comprehensive, but we do not list all available lamp styles or magnifyers from Daylight. Please do not hesitate to ask for any model that you do not see in our selection.
How long does it take to process my order?
We generally process orders the same business day and they are shipped within 4 business days from the date of the processed order.
How much do you charge for shipping and handling?
We charge a shipping fee based on the total dollar amount of your order. Ground Service UPS delivers to residential addresses in 3 to 7 business days after shipment. Actual delivery time depends on shipping distance and may vary. Delivery to some remote addresses may take up to 2 additional business day. USPS Priority Mail delivery is 2 to 3 business days after shipment. UPS delivery is standard ground and is not available for use to a PO Box Addresses. Some of our items can only be shipped via UPS because of the nature of the product. When purchasing any of our magnifying lamps or accessories UPS will be the carrier used in the shipping process.
We do not ship outside of the United States or to P.O. Box addresses.

Why do you or do you not charge sales tax?
We are required to collect sales tax for the state that we do business in, therefor, we collect sales tax for the state of Connecticut.
What is your return policy?
Customer Satisfaction is our goal at Yankee Stitchery. We accept returns for any item that is defective, or wrong item shipped. Please contact us at CustomerService@YankeeStitchery.com for a return authorization number. We will refund your purchase price minus the shipping and handeling fee for all defective shipped items. If your item was a wrong shipped item we will refund the shipping fee for that item. We are happy to assist you.
What about Backorders?
If your item is temporarily out of stock or backordered, we will notify you via email or phone within eight business days of the order date.
